haha, "the pimp man"
I'm honestly for bush as I love his foreign policy. He's not a goody-good nice boy like most of the UN leaders, who need approval for everything. If something right needs done he goes out and does it, he tries to get approval first, but if they don't approve, he knows its the right thing and does it anyway Mr. Kerry is, in most Americans minds, a "quick fix" to all our problems right now. EHHH (buzzer noise)!!! wrong. No such thing. he'll just add to them to be honest. He's a jerk who doesn't care about the important things and I say we keep Bush

I think neither should win. I think the whole "Bush is a racist" might be true, then then again it could be set up so that he doesn't win.

I regret to say that I don't particularily have an opinion on this matter.
I've done my research on this delicate topic, I am republican, so one would think that I would automatically vote for Bush, however, Bush, I don't think, is doing such a great job. He is dealing with the Iraq situation very strangly, and I, for one, don't really agree with a grand majority of his ways. So, then one would assume that Kerry would be my choice, but that's not true, either...I think that Kerry would be a good choice for the currect situation, I think that he would do very well with the Iraq situation, however, I don't think that he'd be good for the long run. Now, although I say I'm republican, I guess that's not really the whole truth, I'm more of an independent, but I lean towards the republican side. One would now assume that my next choice is Nader...I can't really say, though, I don't really know much about him...
Anyway, back to my opinion on this matter, I'd actually have to say that the public doesn't have enough information from Bush about Iraq for me to have an opinion. This time around, I won't have any say about whom should be the president.

Well Yuki, again I have to disagree (oh I LOVE debates, anyways) But I think Bush does a good job. He has waaay too many critics, and people in congress and the government and press should support and try to help him, i mean. Whether you like him or not, he is the president and deserves our support so he can do a better job. Bush does not get this. I think he does an excellent job with foreign countries. The whole Iraq thing has gone really well. There was an evil leader and other things that had to be fixed over there and he went and fixed them. He tried to get approval to do what is right but when the world didn't want him to do what was right, he did it anyways. Most people frown on this "overlooking of the rules" but I think it shows character. He's not scared to do whats right and what needs to be done, with or without the worlds approval, it needed to be done and he did it and I respect him for it.

Well, I think that Bush is being a little selfish over the Iraq situation.
In any case, since I'm not much into politics, I will not pretend to know enough information to contribute to this debate any longer. Therefore, on this last note I walk out the door of this debate.

i used to think that bush was stupid ya know the whole war in iraq...i always thought a greater leader would think of a better way than war...and then i read somewhere that there wasn't as much deaths in this war as there were in any other war...so i was like he seems like a good president...but then again he banned gay marriages and everything that kinda ticked me off. and kerry...gosh i haven't even heard anything he wanted to do for the USA has anyone else? all i've heard of kerry is his elaborate star-studded parties and snowboarding hobby...well that's all well and good but what about the nation...hmm so now i leave this post with an undecided...isn't it great that our youth is interested in all these current events? haha...

ok, anoLYRAnymous, how do you propose we remove an evil, homicidal, genicidal, psychopathic dictator from a country with weapons that could threaten the world? Should we simply "ask" him to leave? People always talk of "violence never being the answer" but sadly, it is the only way to make things happen sometimes. Thats just the way it happens in this world. With a person like that, we can't just "talk" to him and make everything better, action needs to be taken. It's like at school, if your getting picked on, verbally and physically abused, are you just going to sit there and try and talk to them? Some people say this is what we should do but thats not true. Sticking up for yourself and what is right is not wrong. Action needs to be taken, and sometimes, thats the only thing that works.
How does his banning gay marriage tick you off? I think the principle behind it is awesome. What he is saying is that Marriage is an ordinance solely between a man and a woman. Others are free to have their, ummm, same-sex relationships but this fact means that they can not get married as marriage is not between two guys or two girls. Its between a man and a woman. I support him fully in this also.
You were however, right about Kerry. He is a loser and the only reason he has support is that America is looking for a "quick-fix" to the nation's problems (as i said earlier). Kerry is not the answer. There is no "quick-fix" but I would rather have Bush in there than Kerry. There would be others in there but sadly the ones who would do well are too full of integrity and honesty and are usually too much of a first-rate person to ever qualify to be a politician. (as you can see, i do not like politicians)
Yes anoLyranymous, its great that youth are interested and involved.

alright FINE...football54, don't get ur knickers in a twist! i'll give it to you that it was a good idea to go into Iraq. BUT his banning gay marriage ticks me off because i happen to have friends and family who are homosexual and even though it's legal where they are i don't think that it's fair for same-sex couples here to be allowed to marry. i agree that marriage is a sacred thing and i as a catholic should be against it...but love is love and i am all for same-sex marriages...i mean what is SO bad about it? it's not like homosexual couples will be leering at opp-sex couples and think that they are better than everyone.
but i respect your views and opinions and all i was trying to say is that, althought it IS great that we're all interested in all these current events and whatnot, we're still after all only teenagers...we've got a few years until we can vote as of the moment my DECISION IS UNDECIDED. O and Tanya...lol you're such a dork ;D lol HEY ya...YUKI for pres! lol even though i didn't really know her that well...lol well yea CiAO then.

haha, my knickers aren't in a twist, i just like debating I enjoyed reading your opinions, please continue posting. The bad thing about same-sex marriages is that there is not really a basis for argument, you and I have covered pretty much everything. Its mostly an opinion or what you think is right/fair, etc. Thanks for posting. Any more posts would be great guys
