I'm thinking that a book should just be chosen by electoral college if no one's going to do anything...
Yuki..? Where are you in this?

Alright, this is really going a little slow. We've waited too long already, hopefully, next time around will be better. The book that the book club will read is Eragon. We'll read two chapters the first week, after that we'll speed it up or slow it down if needed. Members--please have the first two chapters read by Sunday Pacific time. Enjoy the book!

don't ask stupid questions tanman
second of all, lets use numbered dates so that everyone will be on the same page with no confusing up what day its supposed to be, such as "read this by 1-1-04" etc.
Third of all, are we going to set a time to meet in the chat room to discuss it or what?

We can use the chat room, along with a thread for the book (that will be made as soon as the book club reads the first two chapters). Please visit the chat room thread to see times that we can meet in the chat room...visit the fourth page of the chat room thread.
Alright, we'll set a numbered date, thanks for the suggestion, football54! Members, please have the first two chapters of Eragon read by 09/19 (Pacific time).
Tanman--if you've already read the book, you may want to read it again, alongside the book club so that you may discuss the book into more detail.

Thanks Yuki
And ya Tanman, I would suggest that you read it again. That way your going at the same pace we are, and you might even pick up a few things. Just dont' reveal anything that we haven't read yet, I hate spoilers.

Let's start the second round for the book club!
Now is the time to nominate the books that you would like to see read. You can either e-mail, PM, or post your nominations.
Let's try to make this round a little more active, okay?

I concur, this is getting ridiculous. Therefore, even though I have not recieved enough nominations, we are not even going to vote, I am just going to go ahead and decide the book (hope that's okay with you guys, but I'm sorry, this is really just taking too long) We will start reading The Wrong Reflection on January 1st, 2005. We will read two chapters a week (Every Sunday marks a week) unless we later decide to read more or less. Please, please let's have more participation this round!Oh, and just to make sure that everyone gets the picture... As of January 1st, 2005 the Book Club will start reading THE WRONG REFLECTION by Gillian Bradshaw [/center][/b][/i][/u] ;D
